 * Hi there,
 * I installed the Car Demon plugin in a local as well as an online server, with
the latest WP version (4.2.2). I also tried the latest “compatible” WP version
for this plugin (4.1.5). Nothing extra than WordPress and Car Demon.
    In all
cases i couldn’t make the search inventory module return proper results. The
cars are displayed inside the cars-for-sale listing, as well as in their own
individual page. The wordpress default search module returns the posts as it
should do. The plugin’s search module is behaving oddly.
 * I wonder if there is a setting I should check to make things work. I tried several
combinations of the plugin’s settings but nothing changed regarding the search
   module’s results.
 * When **Content Replacement is ON**, the search goes to _domain.name/index.php?
s=&post\_type=cars\_for\_sale&car=1_, but when it is **OFF **(Default radio button),
   the search goes to _domain.name/?s=cars&car=1_.
    In the _Content replacement
= On case_, the search results page is the WordPress default one (msg “Nothing
found”). On the other side, in the _Content replacement = Off case_, the plugin’s
search template is being used (msg “Sorry, but nothing matched your search criteria.
Please try using a broader search selection.”) and it also brings back many instances
of the two cars i’ve added for testing.
 * Here is the online site (it’s a temporary url, have not redirected the actual
domain yet), for anyone to check out [http://2913380741.thesite.link/cars-for-sale/](http://2913380741.thesite.link/cars-for-sale/).

It’s WordPress 4.1.5 and Car Demon 1.4.1. It also uses the Default (no content
   replacement setting) styling.
 * Any help would be gratefull!

 * Hey, I saw this earlier today “The vehicle search widget requires you to use
a Stock # and may not behave properly if this field is hidden.” This is located
in the Edit Vehicle Option Tabs area of the Car Demon settings.
 * Don’t know what all that means, but might try playing around with that setting
   if you haven’t already.

 * Thanks for the comment intrepid32043. I ‘ve already checked that one, the two
cars have a stock id of 0001 and 0002. I hope there isn’t any standard (eg. 8
characters long or something) about the format of stock #!
