• So, I’ve searched for a solution and I can’t find one for this. There is a magnifying glass search icon next to the profile name/welcome message at the top right of the page. NOT the header, above that. This search doesn’t work. So I either need:

    1. It to actually return some search info (preferably via my yolink search plugin function), or

    2. To remove it altogether.

Everything I’ve found teaches me to remove the search bar in the header, which is just below the one I’m talking about.

Currently, when I enter a search value, it spins for a long while, then gives me the following error:

Fatal error: Cannot use object of type WP_Error as array in /home/scottyhuff/public_html/wp-content/plugins/yolink-search/yolink-search.php on line 2250

Obviously, this is not playing nice with yolink. If anyone can shed some light on this, I’d be grateful.

Currently, I’m using the Kopatheme Nictitate free theme. The site is http://iconicreative.com

    Thanks for your help. 🙂

  • Hi Scottyhuff,

I’ve not used yolink-search before, but that search bar isn’t there by default. My best guess is that it is put there by yolink, and their plugin is what’s not working properly.

Try deactivating yolink-search and see if the search icon disappears. If it does, get in touch with yolink for support if you still want to be able to use it!
