• after updating to latest version of WordPress the Search function is no longer working on either computer or mobile device. Help- I’m a tech challenged blogger.

    Well, my blog is http://www.painperdublog.com.

    You can go to the Search function in the side bar on the right hand side, and put in anything (Granola, Cobblers, Shrimp, Santa Barbara…) and nothing happens. The first page remains

    I typed in “visit”, hit enter, and got search results for “visit”.

    This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

    Thanks- I have no idea what the Twenty themes (the person who built this site used a custom theme, I believe) are, but I had considered disabling the plugins one by one.
