Search function in second connection

Just reporting a potential bug …
I have a connection which attaches a custom post type to a woocommerce product …
In the metabox that shows up in the product editor for creating a connection, the search functionality doesn’t work.
I can scroll through to find the connection I want to make, and everything functions as per normal, but, if I search for the same connection to attach it, search returns that it can’t be found.
