# Search Function

 * Hi,
 * I’m trying to do a basic search for a string of text for example the word:
    hello
   world
 * I’m not sure how to use the search function because when I type “hello world”
   it jumps to the section of the code but does not highlight the word and usually
   it’s not at the right section.
 * It’s inconsistent.. Some words can be found and highlighted, and others can’t
   be found.
 * The search just skips to a wrong section of the code (which does not have the
   word there) and does not highlight the searched word.

 * I’m also having the same exact problem. It seems to be jumping to the same area
   irrelevant of the search.
 * However on another WordPress installation I manage, it seems to be fine.
 * I wonder what’s causing the problem?
