Support » Fixing WordPress » Search form doesn't work on posts page

  • My search bar works fine on the homepage and on category pages, but it doesn’t work from posts or pages.

    On the posts or pages, when I search it goes to the not found page instead of the search results page.

    I’m using the upplex wordpress framework.

    Try searching from this post:

    My searchform.php looks like this:

    <form role="search" method="get" class="search-form form-inline" id="searchform" action="<?php echo home_url( '/' ); ?>">
    	<div class="form-group input-group">
    		<label class="sr-only" for="VideoSearch">Video Search</label>
    		<input id="VideoSearch" type="search" class="search-field form-control" placeholder="1234, Grand Turk, Sunset, etc." value="<?php echo esc_attr( get_search_query() ); ?>" name="s" title="<?php _ex( 'Search for:', 'label', 'upbootwp' ); ?>">
    		<span class="input-group-btn">
                    <button class="search-submit btn btn-default" type="button"><i class="glyphicon glyphicon-search" value="<?php echo esc_attr_x( 'Search', 'submit button', 'upbootwp' ); ?>"></i></button>
