You can look at my post on WordPress Stack Exchange here: http://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/67542/help-with-multiple-dropdown-tags-search
Basically I want to filter posts by tag for real estate listings using wp_drowndown_categories. I think it’s conducting a blank search right now and it just sends me to the home page. I built the form following this: http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_dropdown_categories and added searchpage.php following this: http://codex.wordpress.org/Creating_a_Search_Page. So far what I’ve read for normal forms is to have something like
<input type="text" value="<?php the_search_query(); ?>but I’m not using any text input, only dropdowns of the tags.
Am I just going the wrong way about this using wp_dropdown_categories instead of an actual form dropdown?
