Search Filters not visible on translated website

    Hi,

    The Profile Search Forms are not popping up on my translated website. I have added them to the directory, translated them through WPML strings, but nothing is popping up.

    On the page itself I can see at the bottom that it states that the form is not translatable. When I try to change the setting and save it, it just switches back and is not letting me save it.

    Next, I recreated a form and after it did pop-up on the translated website. However it now seems that all search forms are going to the members page. But for example one needs to go to the ‘membersmap’ page and I’m unable to select it.

    So, I was thinking that recreating them is not the answer. How do I get the original Profile Search Forms to work? I’m using a Gwangi template. They tried to help me, but directed me here.

    Ok, I just recreated a new Search Directory form in the new language and it popped up in the ‘members’ area.

    How do I add the Search map field to the map area? The correct pagename is ‘membersmap’ and I can only choose ‘map shortcode’. How can I add a pagename in the ‘add form to directory’ area?

    You are saying that my issue is unrelated to BP Profile Search? My search is not working correctly…

    Hi wappiez,

    Your issue is related to the interaction between BP Profile Search, the Gwangi theme and the WPML and BP Maps for Members plugins, i.e. one free plugin and three commercial components.

    Guidelines aside, my further problem with commercial components is that I would need to spend money just to reproduce your setup on my test site. I would ask you to let me use *your* test site but, again, this goes against the guidelines of this forum.

    So, if you wish, and if you have a test site I can use, you could post your question on the support forum I mentioned earlier.
