search everything plugin – not working

I installed the search everything plugin and it’s not working.

I’m trying to make the wordpress search to search categories and tags along with post titles. I’m creating an online directoy, so it’s important people can search by a business category even moreso than the business name (which is the post name in my directory).

Is there any other free plugin which does this? Or anyone know why search everything is not working? It has the features I need, but it just doesn’t seem to work…
