I just added a new blog post a fee days ago that’s pretty timely and tied to current events:
    http://www.davesink.com/kim-jong-un-north-koreas-risky-business/
Naturally I’d like to leverage the current interest in the topic to generate as much traffic as possible, but so far, Google hasn’t indexed it and it’s not seen through any general OR image search (my main concern)? Normally my posts and images pop up in search engines within a day or even an hour or so.
I realize SEO is a whole field unto itself, but is there something preventing Google from seeing this post or anything I can do to get it indexed?
    Thanks for any insight.

Sometimes it can actually take weeks, though you’re right, usually it’s much quicker. Not sure if you’re implying that the topic of your content may be blacklisting you but I doubt it. There are much more taboo content out there that Google indexes. That’s a question for Google.

You could always submit your site to Google as well.
