  • I just converted my site from to WordPress: http://www.coffeetherapy.net

    In Yahoo Search, it appears this way:
    Coffee Therapy
    Coffee Therapy. By admin | April 15, 2007 … Web Hosting Services. Coffee Therapy is proudly powered by WordPress using the RockinBigIdea theme. …

    I’d prefer:
    Coffee Therapy
    Darnell’s 25 Year Journey through Psychotherapy. Feature film. Comedy.

    Is there a file I can change to make the seach results text be more like the site content than WordPress?

  • It looks like it’s a Yahoo! thing. Google appears to show different text. You should consider putting the meta description tag in your active theme’s header. Something like:

    <meta name="description" content="Darnell’s 25 Year Journey through Psychotherapy. Feature film. Comedy." />

    I believe that both Yahoo! and Google will use this on their SERP’s if it exists.
