• Hi — quick question: i’ve moved from mt (static pages, easily spidered) to wordpress — what’s the best way to ensure that EVERYTHING gets picked up by the engines (or am i just missing something veryvery basic?)
    thanks

  • I’ve done nothing with regard to SE’s, and google doesn’t miss a trick.

Google is the only loyal visitor on my site, no kidding 😛

Just keep your site up and give it 2-4 weeks. Google will have everything spidered/indexed by then.

Is it normal for Google to index the main page of a WP site, but NOT to index any of the links? I’m going to sit and wait for the time being, but I did think maybe my “permalinks” were putting off Google’s spidering. I use index.php/archives/this-is-a-link instead of site.com/archives/this-is-a-link – would this be a problem do you think?

Thanks macmanx – I like your site, nice style.
