# Search Console data delay

 * Is it normal for Search Console data inside the dashboard to lag behind the actual
Search Console website by a few days? Just want to confirm this isn’t a connection
   issue on my end.

 * Thanks for reaching out [@gregersen1](https://wordpress.org/support/users/gregersen1/).
A few days is not normal or expected, as the Search Console API which Site Kit
uses shows data up to the previous day. What you see within the Site Kit dashboard
typically does align closely with what you see in Search Console directly, with
data displaying from up to the previous day and sooner.
 * In your case, if you want to share a recording of what you see within the Site
Kit dashboard, compared to what you see when clicking on the “Source: Search
Console” link from within the Site Kit dashboard, I’d be happy to review this,
while we can then see if there is a big difference which is accounted for tomorrow
as it may be a case of a sudden spike in traffic. You can use a service such
   as[ ](https://imgur.com)[Loom](https://loom.com) or [Zight](https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/zight-screen-recorder-scr/ojnikmlgjpfiogeijjkpeakbedjhjcch)
to share a screen recording, while using [this form](https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1lhjns2K7c0Ny7ME4gxTcsnYtNUtcMr8BvFpPQi23Y1E/)
to share a link to your recording privately.
 * We have a guide on the plugin website that explains more, you’ll find this below:

 * Let me know if you have any questions with the above. Thank you.
