    Hi,

    We are having a problem.

We sell tours to south america. Some of these tour have others destinations combined. For example:

    1) Peru Basic Program (only Peru category on it)
    2) Peru and Bolivia Basic Program (this have Peru and Bolivia category assigned)

So, if i mark Peru and Bolivia checkbox in the plugin, it brings the second tour. But if i ONLY mark Peru checkbox, it brings both of the tour, when it should only bring the first one, becuuse i only marked that i only want to go to Peru.

Is it clear what i saying? How can i fix this?

    Sorry about my english.
    Thanks,
    Carlos

    No, you can’t.
The plugin was designed to behave like this. It actually filter the posts not searching with the given query in the database.
Unless you are using other input type eg select or radio, which only allow one query at a time.

Is there no way to tweak this to do what we need? (even if it is paid, if so, share an email where i can contact you)

    Thanks,
    Carlos

    Hi, any update of this?

It depends on how you setup the taxonomy of your posts. But for what I saw in your question, seem no tweak for that.

What you mean of “depends on how you setup the taxonomy of your posts”?

The taxonomy that i mention before are two different categories: “Peru” and “Bolivia” are two different things.

    Thanks,

So, if i mark Peru and Bolivia checkbox in the plugin, it brings the second tour. But if i ONLY mark Peru checkbox, it brings both of the tour, when it should only bring the first one, becuuse i only marked that i only want to go to Peru.

So let say you have following posts:

    1. Post 1 – Peru
    2. Post 2 – Peru , Bolivia

if i mark Peru and Bolivia checkbox in the plugin, it brings the second tour.

This will bring you Post 1

But if i ONLY mark Peru checkbox, it brings both of the tour

this will bring ou Post 1 and Post 2. This is correct, because Post 1 and Post 2 both have Peru assigned.

If you want to make it work as you want, you can’t have the categories like this:
    -Peru
    -Bolivia

Instead you should explicit show it in the categories:
    -Peru
    -Peru and Bolivia
