Search Boxes

I am wondering how I can make a search box internally to work with just the page it is on itself. I am using a static page. The search would only search what is entered on that page, it would be entirely numbers. I downloaded DAVE’S SEARCH add on plug in.. I have only been able so far to make it work with blog type pages. It is very blog friendly for WordPress style of blog pages. So this is a simple request but different. Has anyone done this before? I’d prefer it to work by sending the “FOUND” article to a secondary page that describes the numbered article. Do you think Dave’s Search is the right plug in for this? Thanks for your people’s input.
