Hello @rodrigoflausino thanks for getting in touch! Can I please ask what device you are using when you see the issue with the search bar?
Can I also ask you how you are translating the language? Are you using a particular plugin for this and if so which plugin is this?
I am unable to replicate this at present so the information above would be helpful.
Hi! I use the Firefox Browser (resolution 1920×1080), and i use the Portuguese official translation for WordPress (without any plugins for translation). And in Chrome have the same problem.
@rodrigoflausino Thanks for sharing. Can I ask what browser versions you see this on as well as the device you are using to access the Web Stories plugin.
Firefox: 109.0.1 (64 bits)
Chrome: 109.0 and 110 versions
@rodrigoflausino Could you share what device you are using as well?

@rodrigoflausino Thanks for trying and for the information. Can I ask you to try this on a temporary WordPress site which you can spin up using this URL using the same language, device and browser.
It would be useful to see if you encounter the same on this site. You can also try running through our troubleshooting steps here which may highlight any conflicts if there are any.
Let me know if you have any questions.
In This site the search box work as intended.
I tried to install all plugins like Jetpack and AMP and not replicate my problem. How the media search work? Its uses specific asset from WordPress core or plugin? Because its shows white background color and in taste test its show black background color.
I tried to delete the cookies too and in my site don’t working as intended.
@rodrigoflausino You could also try checking that there isn’t a conflict with a particular browser extension although I suspect that would have conflicted on the fresh site as well. But it would be good to rule this out.
Hi! The problem persist in Firefox and Chrome browsers. I deactivate all extensions in Firefox and didn’t work.
In the next few days I intend to test the troubleshooting mode. I was very cautious because I use the WP-Offload plugin to upload images to AWS S3.
Hi @rodrigoflausino, we just uncovered that this issue is caused by Jetpack, which loads some stylesheets that conflict with the Web Stories editor. The good news is, Jetpack will be fixing this in their next release. Then the search form should look normal again.
Hi! In newest update from Jetpack (11.8.3) the search box visual bug its fixed!
Thanks all for help and information!
