Hi,
thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.
The problem is caused by another plugin (or a theme feature) that is raising a JavaScript issue. This causes the browser to stop executing all other JavaScript code on the page (including that from TablePress).
Can you therefore please try again after temporarily deactivating all other plugins and after switching to a WordPress default theme like Twenty Twenty? That way, we can find what’s causing this.
Regards,
Tobias
Hi – is there any resolution to this as I’m seeing the same thing (but also cheekily waiting for vince to try out the debug) – my page https://www.wthub.org/candidates/ is simply flat but I wanted to get the search working as an easier method of searching (its a half-hidden page for a partner currently and they can use ctrl F while we are sorting)
Cheers
Serrie
Hi @serrie,
in your case, the cause for the issue is that you pasted CSS code into the “Custom Commands” text field on the table’s “Edit” screen. This is the wrong place for this CSS code. Please remove it there and instead paste it into the “Custom CSS” text field on the “Plugin Options” screen of TablePress.
Regards,
Tobias
Brilliant – thanks Tobias – I did put it together a bit quickly (should have taken more care!)
Hi,
no problem, you are very welcome! 🙂 Good to hear that this helped!
Best wishes,
Tobias
P.S.: In case you haven’t, please rate TablePress here in the plugin directory. Thanks!
