Nothing has changed in the settings at this end. Any suggestions? Breetvelt](https://wordpress.org/support/users/opajaap/) * (@opajaap) * [8 years, 10 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/search-box-display-problem/#post-9336290) * I see that you updated to 6.7.03 and now the input field is gone… * I tested it on weaver-xtreme, weaver-ii is not available. * Are there theme settings with respect to the normal wp search widget? ‘My’ search widget uses the themes search widget html, to look alike as much as possible, and modifies it for photo search, so if in any way the normal wp search widget is modified/made unusable, the photo search widget will be modified/made unusable too. If you can supply me a link to the weaver ii theme, and i can use it without costs, i will investigate on it. * What also may help is if you temporary add a normal wp search widget to the same sidebar, so i can see how the html looks. There’s nothing I can see in the theme settings that affects search. Weaver ii needs upgrading but it’s a bit of a long job for which I’m struggling to find the time for lately. Search box will probably display properly when I’m done so thanks, it needed updating. Will be in maintenance mode now for a while. * Plugin Author [Jacob N. I fixed it for weaver ii (and likely for other mis- behaving themes) * Do the following: – install the current development version as described [here.](https://wppa.nl/docs-by-subject/development-version/)– Add to Table IV-A15: Custom style: * ``` .wppa-searchsel-item div input[type="search"] { width: 80%; } ``` * and the search photo widget will look the same as the wp search widget. So you can go back to your original theme. I’ve now upgraded Weaver to the latest version: Weaver Extreme 3.1.8 & am putting the site back together. So far the WPPA search box appears to be working fine. Weaver Extreme & WPPA+ must have between them more settings than half the other plugins/themes put together – literally hundreds. Takes a while to find just the setting required for a small alteration. However, they’re so versatile that I wouldn’t use any other combination. My site is almost back together save for a few minor tweeks. I’ll post the link when it is.
