Or of course, you can add custom css like:

.wp-block-search__inside-wrapper {
  max-height:40px;
} 
.wp-block-search .wp-block-search__button {
  padding: 5px;
}

using a plugin that allows you to add custom code , or by adding it like this https://docs.themeisle.com/article/1797-how-can-i-add-custom-css-to-my-fse-theme
