I just tested again on a default installation of WP and tags seem to work just fine. Also, to see that tag/search works, try searching my site echunks.com for any tag (they are all added via the USP plugin): http://echunks.com/tags/
Perhaps there is another plugin that is interfering..? If so, you can find out by disabling all other plugins and then re-enabling them one at a time until the conflict is found.
Thank you Jeff I just uninstalled all the plugins, but still the same problem. Do you recomend me any theme, perhaps the theme is the problem.

The plugin uses existing WP tag functionality for all tag stuff and should work fine in any theme. Best of luck to your community.
