Search and Replace is not writing changes to the database

Hello, I have installed the plugin and the dry run shows me what will be changed. The when I uncheck dry run and try to have the database updated with the search and replace that I’ve done with dryrun, the plugin just takes be me back to the search and replace screen. No changes are made to the database and no errors are seen on the screen.
