Search “All Products Results” Causing Redirects

    Hi Damian, I messaged you earlier today regarding getting a redirect when I search in the plugin search bar and select all products.

    I tried on Storefront theme but still receive the same problem of a redirect to my store homepage. This is only when selecting “all products” in a search.

    I can’t seem to see any other plugins that are causing this. I have also checked with a redirect plugin but couldn’t see any issues.

    Does anyone have any idea what I can do there to stop this redirect?

    Hi,

    This redirection isn’t related to my plugin. You can check the flow using e.g. this website – https://redirectdetective.com/

    The native WooCommerce search results page has the following URL:

    https://your-website.com/?s=test&post_type=product

    So you can make a simple test and paste https://your-website.com/?s=test&post_type=product to Redirect Detective tool. You will see that there is 301 – Permanent Redirect to the homepage.

    Also, remember one thing. Your browser may cache redirections. So if you switch e.g. to Storefront, try redirection in https://redirectdetective.com/, not in your browser.

    Except for plugins and themes, you can have redirection rules in .htaccess file. Check it.
