 * I am in the process of replacing my Time.ly calendar with MyCandar. Everything
   seems to work EXCEPT the “Search Events” box at the top. No matter what I put
   in, all events continue to be displayed.
 * Ant ideas?
 * Thanks.

 * The search itself seems to be working (See [https://ucwc.org/my-calendar/?mcs=violence](https://ucwc.org/my-calendar/?mcs=violence),
   for example), but the button is triggering some totally different URL; you’re
   ending up with ?source=widget in the URL. That suggests to me that some other
   plugin might be interfering.
 * I’d start by disabling the other calendar plugin, and if that doesn’t address
   the issue, try disabling other plugins to identify whether and which one is interfering.

 * I’m getting this exact same issue. The “?source=widget” is being added to the
   URL when searching. I have no other calendar plugins installed. I did have “Classic
   Widgets” plugin, but the problem persists with it both installed and uninstalled.
 * I’m not sure what else to check.

 * [@lobes06](https://wordpress.org/support/users/lobes06/) Do you have any plugins
   or theme in common with [@ssander0](https://wordpress.org/support/users/ssander0/)?

 * [@joedolson](https://wordpress.org/support/users/joedolson/) I wish I knew, I
   have no way to contact him/her. The normal WordPress out-of-the-box search works
   fine, but not the MyCalendar search box.

 * The original poster included that information in their post – if you can look
   at that information and compare, that would be helpful.

 * Right you are. We have the following plugins in common:
 * Classic Editor
   Classic WidgetsMy CalendarTablePress
 * I’ve disabled them all (except for My Calendar obviously) and still get the problem
   searching the calendar. I am not using the same theme (I’m using Hello Elementor–
   Child)

 * As of yet, I’ve been unable to reproduce this or identify a cause of it. I can
   see that [@ssander0](https://wordpress.org/support/users/ssander0/) has disabled
   the search on their calendar, which was the only place where I could inspect
   it. So, for the time being, I want you to know that I’m not actively pursuing
   this issue. If I manage to reproduce it, I certainly will – but I have nothing
   to go on or work with right now.

 * I’ve got a fix for this; I’ll be releasing it soon.

 * I just today noticed that searching the list of events also does not work either…
   but there is an error message:
 * **Notice**: Function wpdb::prepare was called **incorrectly**. The query does
   not contain the correct number of placeholders (9) for the number of arguments
   passed (2). Please see [Debugging in WordPress](https://wordpress.org/documentation/article/debugging-in-wordpress/)
   for more information. (This message was added in version 4.8.3.) in **/var/www/
   wp-includes/functions.php** on line **5905**
 * Maybe this will help.

 * I’d need more context to do anything with that; I haven’t seen that error appear,
   and that error message doesn’t contain enough information to tell where it’s
   coming from.
