# SDK Error

 * The danger of having plugins depend on other plugins is that they get out of 
   sync. How can I resolve this issue, and prevent further problems in the future?
 * Error fetching buckets — Missing required client configuration options: region:(
   string) A “region” configuration value is required for the “s3” service (e.g.,“
   us-west-2”). A list of available public regions and endpoints can be found at
   [http://docs.aws.amazon.com/general/latest/gr/rande.html](http://docs.aws.amazon.com/general/latest/gr/rande.html).

 * Are you aware of any other plugins connecting to AWS? This error usually occurs
   when different versions of the AWS SDK are included, but they’re unable to run
   side-by-side.
 * FYI this isn’t a problem with “The danger of having plugins depend on other plugins
   is that they get out of sync.” We manage the Amazon Web Services plugin and update
   it often.
