Support » Plugin: Max Mega Menu » scrolling menu

  • Hello,

On any menu I create and I currently have a test menu at the bottom of the page I cannot get it to create a vertical up and down scrollbar with arrows to view the contents of the sub menu.

I want the user to use the arrows in the sub menu with a scrollbar to view the links to click on not scroll the actual web site page.

    Thanks in advance…

    Hi Admin,

I don’t fully understand what you mean regarding scrollbars, but the behaviour of the sub menu is what I’d expect.

If you want the sub menu to show above the menu bar, instead of below it, please see:

My question is how do you create a vertical scroll bar in a drop down menu that has hundreds of entries? Currently the top navigation menu stops showing all of the entries because the drop down does not extend. I dont want viewers to keep scrolling the browser I want a vertical scroll bar to appear in the menu itself.

Can I send a screen capture to show you what I mean?

    Thanks,

    David

    Hi David,

Generally if you have hundreds of menu items in a sub menu I would recommend displaying them inside a mega sub menu rather than a flyout menu. A mega menu is much more suited to displaying a lot of links. You can check the difference between each type of sub menu on the demo menu on https://megamenu.com

Can you upload the screenshot to an image sharing site (e.g. http://imgur.com) and paste a link to it here?

    Regards,
    Tom
