    Hello my english is not so good, cause my question is first in german:
    Hallo!

    Danke vorab schon mal.

    I deacivited autoptimize, and the “errors” are away. But when I activited autoptimize the errors are back. I thought i fixed it, when i use the function from exclude with example the css from the plugin “to top”. But it doesn´t work.

    I hope really i become help, cause the “bugs” are first since last weekend.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Can you try adding wp-includes/js to the comma-separated JS optimization exclusion list swinit ?

    I don´t know, but i see also a lot of problems or “bugs”, when i open the site on internet explorer. i don´t know why, but the site works with activated autoptimize not good. Also a lot of problems shows the google page speed test.

    OK, go to Setttings -> Autoptimize and on that page under “Javascript options” go to the “Exclude scripts from Autoptimize” field and in that field add , wp-includes/js, that should fix most (all) of the issues you’re having.

    Hello again, i did it, but the bugs are still there :/

    Well, there are now no more JS errors on the browser console, that’s always good 😉

    Now let’s take a step back by trying to identify what is breaking things by just disabling CSS or JS or HTML or Image optimization (incl. lazyload). Based on that we can see what the next steps need to be 🙂

    Ok the thing is, last week was always good, especially i had no problems with the plugin on top or with elementor (here above the problem with the icons from the lightbox-gallery/the arrows). But since last weekend suddenly the plugin on top is hanging around in the footer :/ and the galleries from lightbox the icons are small boxes in the depiction. There are also another problems. I tried always to fix it alone, but i think its better, when you can help me 🙂

    sure, so let’s take a step back by trying to identify what is breaking things by just disabling CSS or JS or HTML or Image optimization (incl. lazyload)? 🙂

    Thread Starter swinit

    (@swinit)

    And how should I go about that?

    (@optimizingmatters)

    by:

    * going to settings -> autoptimize and on that page first disable JS opt and test
    * then re-enable JS opt on settings -> autoptimize and disable CSS opt and test
    * then re-enable CSS opt on settings -> autoptimize and disable HTML opt and test
    * then re-enable HTML opt on settings -> autoptimize and on settings -> autoptimize -> images disable image opt and/ or lazyload (if you have that active) and test
    * then re-enable img opt/ lazyload on settings -> autoptimize -> images and on settings -> autoptimize -> extra disable any option you might have set and test

    Thread Starter swinit

    (@swinit)

    * going to settings -> autoptimize and on that page first disable JS opt and test = same bugs
    * then re-enable JS opt on settings -> autoptimize and disable CSS opt and test = bugs are away
    * then re-enable CSS opt on settings -> autoptimize and disable HTML opt and test =same bugs
    * then re-enable HTML opt on settings -> autoptimize and on settings -> autoptimize -> images disable image opt and/ or lazyload (if you have that active) and test = i have this not acitvated
    * then re-enable img opt/ lazyload on settings -> autoptimize -> images and on settings -> autoptimize -> extra disable any option you might have set and test

    OK, so JS opt it is.

    OK, now in the comma-separated JS optimization exclusion field, can you try excluding one of below each line and report back?

    * wp-content/themes
    * OR wp-content/plugins
    * OR wp-includes/js

    Thread Starter swinit

    (@swinit)

    wp-content/themes – when i write just this in the field, nothing works on the site
    wp-content/plugins – when i write just this in the field, it works with bugs
    wp-includes/js – when i write just this in the field, it works better/faster but with the same bugs

    (@optimizingmatters)

    hmm … can you repeat the same test, but with “minify excluded CSS/ JS” off and can you copy/paste JS errors you get on the browser console for each?
