• Resolved msdesignfoto

    Hello

I was browsing the blocked users list when I came across this bug.
Its nothing really important but it may be somewhat bothersome.

I went to Wordfence Firewall, then I picked the Blocking tab. As soon as I clicked this tab, I noticed the right scroll bar in my browser window was gone. The Blocking panel has only a few options and thus, the scroll bar was removed because it was not necessary to scroll anywhere. But it was. I still have the remaining WordPress menu options on the left going way further down and even with the mouse wheel, the page didn’t move.

Solution is simple: just switch to any other tab, option, or panel, and the scroll is back. I only noticed this issue on the Block tab. All the others seem to present a scroll bar.

Please fix this. Less tech-curious-users may expect difficulties with this bug.

    Cheers

Hi @msdesignfoto, thanks for your message.

I have been able to replicate the issue you mention. It seems that the left-hand menu bar doesn’t have its own scrollbar, so when the page itself can’t be scrolled neither can the WordPress menu. However, on the WordPress > Settings > Writing page, which also does not require to be scrolled on my resolution, this behaviour doesn’t happen.

I will mention the issue to our development team and see if we can get to the cause.

    Peter.
