  • Everytime I visit my site there is a script line appearing above my header on my home page….
    ', {'value':'0.00','currency':'GBP'}]); &cd[value]=0.00&cd[currency]=GBP&noscript=1' />

Can you please tell me how to get rid of this? It is so very annoying.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Warm regards

  • Hello Mark,

My guess would be it is some rogue code added by a plugin (or your theme) which is not coded properly.

I would start by deactivating ALL my plugins and see if it disappears. If it does, begin re-enabling plugins a few at a time, going back to check if the script returns. Keep doing this until you narrow down which plugin is causing the issue.

I would imagine it is a plugin that has to do with money (shopping cart, donation, etc.) since the code mentions “currency”.

In a case like this I usually start by changing my theme, if the problem is still present then you can either deactivate all of your plugins and renable them one by one till you find out what one is causing the issue (as Josh said) or if you have a good idea of what one is causing the issue then you might just start with that one before disabling them all.

What tracking or ecommerce plugins do you have installed?
