Script includes its own ImagesLoaded js?

Something odd I noticed is that this plugin enqueues its own ImagesLoaded js. I’m wondering why it includes it as apparently it comes with WordPress, and will be updated in the upcoming WP 4.6, too.
Why not use the imagesLoaded in WordPress?
