Script for multi-lingual site

    I am currently using WPML but I think it´s a bit too much for what I need. I have a site that is a directory for Dutch and French. The content of the directory is publish via custom-fields I created. 80% of the content does not need to change. The only content that needs to change is a few custom field values.

    Secondly, I need on both the French page and the Dutch page the ability to have search results based upon the typing of the 3 national languages. Dutch, French, German,

    For example… french user goes to french page. Wants to search by city, but only knows the Dutch version of the city. Currently when I insert the field, it must be French to display. But I need the Dutch version and the German version to be displayed.

    Not sure how to go about this? Any advice?
