 * From my search through the forums it would seem that inserting `<script>stripped
   again</script>` and various other HTML elements is still a problem.
 * Without spending the rest of my life searching for an answer on this forum. **
   Can someone just tell me if there is a workaround** for this problem that seems
   to have remained persistent and unresolved (as far as I know) for the last 7 
   years.

 * If you’re pasting a script into the content editor you’re doing it wrong – it
   is not an unresolved WordPress problem as it is not intended to support that.
 * Make a simple plugin or add a function to your theme’s functions.php file and
   include your script by means of a [shortcode](http://codex.wordpress.org/Shortcode_API).
