• HELP! i was editing the php and totally screwed up my page. now i can’t get back into the site to edit it again. i know exactly what i did to mess it up but don’t know how to get in. a consultant set up the site for us and just gave me a link and login to make updates. the link (and any attempt to get to our site) takes you to this error message:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /home/shpl/public_html/wp-content/themes/shpl/functions.php on line 436

how do i get back in?

p.s. i don’t know what version of wp i’m using. i just picked 3.3.2 so it would let me post. as far as i know i’m using the most recent but i couldn’t swear to it

Was it the functions.php theme file you were editing? If so you need to Connect by FTP & upload the last known good backup copy of the file.
