Screen Settings will not save

    I’m trying to turn on custom field but it will not allow me to save it on the screen options. I’ve refreshed, reinstalled, turned off all plug-ins. I don’t know what else to do!

    Also it won’t let me turn off any windows I don’t need

    Have you tried using another browser? Another computer?

    Yea I have tried ff and chrome on two separate computers

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.
