# Screen Options tab missing

 * Ive just installed a fresh version of WordPress 3.1, and the Screen Options tab
   seems to be missing…or perhaps it’s hidden by the new Jetpack banner?…so I cant
   turn off the commenting option for static pages.
 * Has anyone else encountered this problem?
 * Is there a way to make the Screen Options tab visible again and/or remove the
   Jetpack banner, and see if the Screen Option tab is hidden underneath?
 * Any help much appreciated!

 * JetPack is the culprit. Just happened to me on a new install of wordpress at 
   godaddy. The css for the Jetpack plugin is hiding it. In the Plugins menu, deactivate
   the JetPack plugin and it will show up.

 * Well, I just upgraded to the new WordPress release, 3.1.1, and I still don’t 
   see the screen options tab.
 * A bit frustrating…
