 * I posted this on the mu.wordpress.org forums, and thought it would be good to
   gather info from here as well…

 * Synopsis: we are building a wordpress/mu plugin that allows for SCORM (1.2 &
   2004) delivery and tracking based upon interest we have seen in the community.
   We are taking suggestions for this plugin now and would love to hear from anyone
   interested in using WP as an LMS.
 * thanks,
 * -Brian

 * Hi,
    I work in higher education and think this would be fantastic!! Believe me,
   we have reviewed tons of LMS systems out there; many are really expensive and
   have impractical business models. We serve hundreds of thousands of middle and
   high school students on our site, and the common LMS pricing model by number
   of users is just not feasible. Other products are based on bandwidth, but WP.
   org leaves that issue up to the WP.org users – we can scale up based on bandwidth
   needs. Lastly, some LMS business models require you to buy the database and run
   it on your own server. Well, WP.org has a database running behind the scenes,
   an elegant interface with multiple functions (including CMS), and is free.
 * I would welcome the opportunity to contribute ideas. Thanks,
    Mark

 * Here’s an update on the SCORM plugin… It’s all done and available in the WordPress
   plug-in directory. Just search for “SCORM” and you’ll see it – SCORM Cloud for
   WordPress. More information on how it works and getting it configured available
   at [http://www.scorm.com/wordpress](http://www.scorm.com/wordpress).
