Support » Plugin: Schema » Schema Vs. Yoast (latest version)

  • Hi,

Does anyone have an feedback regarding the compatibility between the latest version of Yoast (v.11.1 if I’m not mistaken) and Schema, regarding the schema markup implementation? Or is still ok to use them both?
    Thanks for your time!

  • Good point. I asked a similar question. Click below.

Hoping plugin author will respond soon. Meanwhile, we’ve stopped using the Schema plugin with no issues. Yoast is generating the proper schema mark-ups for our website.

Special Note: After deleting the Schema plugin, we noticed our website loads faster.

We used this plugin for a while and works great, but Yoast seems to be catching up to it very fast.

    Cheers!

    Hi @jetxpert,

I haven’t stopped using the Schema plugin yet because I noticed more structured data with on posts: I’ll check again with the latest verion of Yoast.

Thanks for the special note regarding website performance, will look into that too!

    Cheers!

    Hi @jetxpert,

I did check : I couldn’t see a great changes regarding page load. However, I do have now an error on individual pages (images missing) even if I thought featured images were only required for posts and not pages. I didn’t notice if this error was there before WordPress 5.2.2, Yoast or Divi latest update

Also, I saw several of your requests on this forum and no answer to this day. I’m seriously considering stopping the use of this plugin.

    Yours,
