Support » Fixing WordPress » Scheduling Posts to a Specific Second

  • Good evening!

I’m looking to schedule the publishing of a post down to a specific second. The base WordPress editor seems to lack the ability to allow you to pinpoint the publishing of a post down to the second and only provides control over the hour and the minute, with the second being seemingly random. Is there a hidden way to control the second a post releases that I’m not seeing, or would this issue be better remedied by installing a certain plugin?

Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

  • The schedule is only checked when there is a visit to the site, so you can’t be that exact. You could try to use your server’s cron or an external cron, but not the WP Cron.
