• Hi David,
    Greetings!

UpdraftPlus is doing excellent backup on G drive.
    Apparently the scheduler isn’t working.
wp_cron and loop-back are not disabled.
I have read the updraftplus FAQ.
Google search to resolve this issue isn’t helpful.

Will you please tell me what else I should check so that the scheduler works?

The webhost would also like to know if there is anything at their end that needs to be corrected.
    1)
I wonder if All in One WP Security plugin has something to do with the failure of scheduling.
    2)
I do not know running backups from the shell.
    3)
    Would this be necessary?
    define( ‘ALTERNATE_WP_CRON’, true );

    or
Should I be doing the drill of reverting to default theme and deactivating all plugins + fresh upload wp-admin and wp-includes?
Slight difficulty in this is one has to wait with all plugins deactivated till the scheduled time.

    Error mesage is:
Warning: WordPress has a number (13) of scheduled tasks which are overdue. Unless this is a development site, this probably means that the scheduler in your WordPress install is not working. Read this page for a guide to possible causes and how to fix it.

    Other Details
All theme files and plugins are latest version.
    I am using twentyfourteen-child theme.

    Thanking you in advance.
    Best wishes and regards,
    Dr. Ashok Koparday

Thanks David for the useful backup restore plugin.
UpdraftPlus plugin indeed is a five star ***** plugin.

On deactivating the All in One WP Security Plugin I found the scheduler worked and the error message disappeared.
