Scheduled Sale Not Ending? | WordPress.org

Hi everyone,

I was editing all my variable products to set up a sale for a certain time span and the sale was supposed to end yesterday on 05/31/2016, but the sale is still active currently. What’s going on exactly? And if the scheduling coding is broken, then is there just a way for me to create sales and end sales for ALL products at once?

Hey there, Jill!

Typically this is a problem with WP Cron not firing off when it should, it’s a scheduler of sorts. To test this, create a new post and set it to be scheduled just a few minutes into the future. Go to your site, click around a bit, then check to see if that post was published when it should have been.

If not, then WP Cron is not running like it should be. You will need to turn on debugging and logging, then check to see if there are any errors logged. This plugin should turn on debugging and logging on most hosts:

The scheduled post did not show up. What do I do now?

This will add a debug menu item to the top admin bar where you can view cron events and see if they are running.

It appears Cron is disabled. How do I enable it?

Check if its disabled in your wp-config.php file.
