    Hello,

My users have reported to me that scheduled posts aren’t working currently. This is happening on two multisite installs of WordPress on the same Linux (RHEL) system, but it is not happening on the other standalone (non-Multisite installs) on the same system.

I have tried some of what I’ve seen others mention with this issue (including wget https://ourdomain/wp-cron.php?doing_wp_cron for the root and wget https://ourdomain/news/wp-cron.php?doing_wp_cron for the sub-site to no avail. The posts just sit at “Missed Schedule”.

Any ideas what I can check next here? These sites have been operating without issue until the past week or two.

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

  • Hello, I had this problem when I tried to schedule a post.
But now I figured it out.

There is nothing wrong with cron job or wordpress update or something.

When I tried to create new post. I forgot to select post category. Then I missed my schedule. After I found that problem, I created post with selecting category. Then all good.

I think problem is solved. Please try to select category when you are creating post.
    Please reply.

    Thank you.
