When I set EWWW_IMAGE_OPTIMIZER_NOAUTO = true, scheduled optimization does not work or many images remain unoptimized.

Hi ali3412,

Have you tried running a bulk optimizer to see if it gets images that are missed? How are you verifying that it’s not getting those images? Are they in the main uploads folder or are they being stored someplace else? If it’s someplace else, you may need to add them to the Folders to Optimize. That having been said, it looks like you aren’t using the latest version of the plugin (or WordPress for that matter) so it may be hard to troubleshoot some of this.

Have you tried updating to the latest versions to see if that allows for scheduled optimization?

Apparently the problem was that I disabled wp-cron. And running wp-cron on schedule was not frequent enough. Sorry for wasting your time. Your plugin is still the best 🙂
