Wordfence scanning will be unavailable from 5pm EST until 8pm EST as we perform scheduled maintenance on our scanning infrastructure. This will be updated when maintenance is complete. We'll also update our twitter feed at http://twitter.com/wordfence

    Regards,

    Mark Maunder.

The maintenance is taking longer than we anticipated. It should be complete around 11pm EST, give or take an hour.

    Regards,

    Mark.

Update on the maintenance: Scanning and all other functions are now operational, but file repair and view-changes won't be available until noon EST tomorrow. We are still completing the work and have had to keep these functions disabled as we do this.

Unless you're repairing a hacked system and need to actually repair a broken file or see what has changed in a file, you won't notice any difference.

    Regards,

    Mark.

File repair and view-changes is now working. We're busy running an update which will fix the Akismet issue and that should be finished within a few hours - roughly 5pm EST.

So as of now we are fully operational, albeit with a minor issue with Akismet scanning.

    Regards,

    Mark.

I decided to try wordfence and I have this message on every page of my site Briefly unavailable for scheduled maintenance. Check back in a minute. It's been 15 minutes. Please advise?

FYI - Just installed 5.0.1 free version and it causes a failure trying to log out.

"Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_get_current_user() in ......./wp-includes/user.php on line 209
    "

    Hi,

You're replying to a very old thread about maintenance. Please create a new thread.

That error looks like something unrelated to Wordfence. It's coming from one of your PHP core files.

    Regards,

    Mark.
