Support » Plugin: Forminator Payment, Quiz and Contact Form Plugin » Scheduled event, forminator_send_export, failed to run.

  • Resolved joshnorris

    Hey there.

Just updated my php version from 7.2.x to to 7.3.5. Upon doing so the site health of the new WordPress 5.2 reveals a continuously failing event (PHP 7.2.x didn’t have this issue).

The scheduled event, forminator_send_export, failed to run. Your site still works, but this may indicate that scheduling posts or automated updates may not work as intended.

The above is the only output that is available. Can you confirm if this will cause any problems with function until an update is released or what the solution is?

    Hello @joshnorris

    Hope you are doing well!

This message does not affect the Formnator plugin in any way. This message means that the site skipped a cron event something that happens very often, in general.

    Hope this helps!

Is there a way to turn off the forminator_send_export event? If this doesn’t affect anything, I’d like to remove it.

    Hello @cbcbcb ,

I’m not sure if this is possible to disable, I have sent message to our developer about that and I’m waiting for the response.

    kind regards,

Wow. What a very disappointing non-answer by wpmudev.

I have a dozen or more cron jobs running via plugins on some of my wordpress sites and site health NEVER reports any of them as failing. Just Forminator consistently. Shame on wpmudev for this.

You can turn off the warning however Josh! Search for the plugin titled Site Health Tool Manager then install and activate it. Then you’ll find it under the Settings menu.

What it does is allow you to selectively enable/disable what warnings the site health utility reports on. Turn off “Scheduled Events” and you will no longer receive the Forminator “error”! Very cool!

Or is it? WPMUDEV should address this issue immediately and not shrug it off as they do here and on their site as a “it happens to everyone and all plugins with cron jobs” garbage. Turning off the warning is no substitute for a better plugin and it can cause actual REAL problems not to appear.

Like I said, Shame on WPMUDEV…

    Hope this helps!
