[resolved] Schedule maintenance mode to turn on (7 posts)

    Hi,

I have a client who wishes to close his website on Sunday and show a custom page instead. After some research, I saw that such a plugin is not available, so I turned to this plugin.

The plugin does the trick, but the only disadvantage is that the maintenance mode needs to be enabled and disabled every Sunday. Is there a way to automatically activate the maintenance mode during a specific time frame?

Thanks in advance for your support!

Maybe you can use cronjobs to do so. Search for the file(s) in which are options to activate or deactivate the plugin and make a cronjob to change this file every sunday.

I don't have knowledge about cronjobs and if this might work, but there is no function inside this plugin to do so.

Now that the plugin has a new owner, is this feature listed? :)

Hi, this feature is not listed, because the cron simulation on WordPress is not stable, so this feature can generate many issues and bugs...
