    Hi!

Is it possible to schedule changes for a table. I have several tables that I would like to change the data in and would like to make those adjustments ahead of time before it should be updated to the visitor. Is that possible in some way? I’ve tested including the tablepress_table post type to Yoast Duplicate Post to be able to use its “Rewrite & Republish” feature but that doesn’t seem to work unfortunately.

    Hi!

Thanks for your post and sorry for the trouble!

I see what you mean, but unfortunately, such a scheduling is not directly possible with TablePress.

    Instead, my suggestion would be:
Create a copy of your table and make your modifications in the copy of the table. Then, use a separate plugin for scheduling content parts (there should be some in the plugin directory). You could then configure that to show “original” Shortcode until a certain date and to show the “new” Shortcode after that date.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

Thanks for the quick reply! Using a block scheduling approach might do the trick, however it would be great to have a feature for scheduling updates for each table, eliminating the need to create duplicates of a table. =)

    Hi Markus,

Good to hear that this helps!

While this might be nice to have directly in TablePress, I don’t have immediate plans to integrate support for this. This would be very complex (it would for example also be necessary to take into account “Custom CSS” code), with limited gains, in my opinion.
