It says that you CAN do it, but in the “Schedule” tab there are only two options: online vault (which is too small for my backup files); and emailed. Where is the setting that allows a backup to my own server?

    Hi terrykiwi,

We don’t have “local backups” at the moment. We’ll be implementing this in next version or so as it’s currently in the works.

Where does it say that we can do it?

We can downloadable ZIP file but this can’t be scheduled, since the act of downloading the file can’t be scheduled and each backup would overwrite the previous downloadable file. Though as mentioned we’re in the process of expanding this so it doesn’t overwrite the previous file, and stores multiple files locally, that can optionally be downloaded.

300MB is not that much though and we can increase the quota for you so you can store that amount. Just email your username to support “at” backup-technology.co.uk and request at least 300MB and we can get your quota upped.

    Regards,

    Jason

Maybe I misinterpreted what it says:

“The plugin can backup your site’s database (containing settings, pages, posts and comments) as well as its filesystem (containing media, attachments, themes and plugins) to any one of three places:
    A downloadable ZIP file
    Your email inbox
Backup Technology’s secure data centres with 100 MB free online storage space.”

Thanks for the offer to increase storage. I will email you.
