Scans not Running on Staging Sites

Thank you for the great plugin.
I am using the free version of Wordfence and experiencing problems with running scans on staging sites that I have created. The scans run as expected on the live sites, but as soon as I try on the staging site (clones of the live) the scan fails to run, just providing the message: ‘Scan stop request received.’, and nothing more happens
I have tried searching on this forum, but I was unable to find anything to assist. I have also run through the troubleshooting options at https://www.wordfence.com/help/scan/troubleshooting/ without any resolutions.
Any additional recommendations are greatly appreciated.

I left the site alone until today, so I gave it around 10 days in Learning Mode, and then went back. The site was already in the Enabled and Protecting mode, and as such the Scan did not work when I visited the site.
With regards to the staging site location, it is on Siteground and as you may or may not know they create a staging.domain subdomain for each staging site created, and this resides outside of the public_html directory on the hosting server.
I have sent another report as you kindly defined previously, and the log output shows:

Can you send a diagnostic report to wftest @ wordfence . com? You can find the link to do so at the top of the Wordfence Tools > Diagnostics page. Then click on “Send Report by Email”. Please add your forum username where indicated and respond here after you have sent it.
We can start here and Ill review everything.

Not a nuisance at all! I just want to be able to get your scan working.
First thing I notice on your diagnostics is all of your cron jobs are dead. Looks like they haven’t been ran since September.
Download and install WP Crontrol at https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-crontrol/
Follow their guide to remove your overdue WF cron jobs. To recreate them, disable Wordfence and enable it again. It will repopulate the crons.Have you followed the guide to optimize the firewall via siteground?

Having followed your recommendations and also having contacted Siteground I am left in a similar situation. The cron jobs were not working even after using the WP Crontrol plugin and Siteground recommended that I use the procedure defined in https://my.siteground.com/support/cpanel/tutorials/wordpress/real-cron-job. This I have done. I have also set up a staging site in Wordfence Central account. The sad news is that I am still not able to see the scan working on the Siteground staging site. 🙁
Any other assistance that you can offer is appreciated.
