    I got trouble doing the “Scan Now” on the page: Files Monitor > Files Monitor from WP Admin. When I click it, it changes to “Scanning..” for 1 second, and goes back to say “Scan Now”.

    And also, it seems like the crobjob is not working, as I installed it 2 days ago on May 12, and now it still says “Last scan: May 12, 2020 10:06 pm”, the time I first installed. For the frequency I set to Hourly.

    Is there any incompatibility with my site?

    Your problem might be different than the one @otterotter is experiencing. So can you please send us the system information file by clicking “Download System Info File” in the plugin’s Help and About page?

    We have just released update 1.6 which has got some plugin improvements. Can you please try the following:

    1) Navigate to the plugin’s settings.
    2) Enable the setting “Delete plugin data upon uninstall.”
    3) Deactivate and uninstall the plugin.
    4) Re-install the plugin (now it will be update 1.6.0).

    Can you please try and let us know if the latest version works on your setup?

    I am not understanding how the version of Wordfence is related to this ticket. Anyway, can you please do the following test:

    1) Navigate to the plugin’s settings page
    2) Enable the debug logs (the option before the last)
    3) Save the settings and run a scan.

    If there are any issues please send us the log files to The plugin creates the logs in the /wp-content/uploads/wfcm-logs/ directory.
