    Hi,

    Starting today my WF scans are failing, I’ve worked through the suggested actions, but there is no db corruption, I don’t have the known plugins with issues installed, I checked that your IP addresses are not blocked, and the ajax handler working OK.

    One potential issue is that I’ve recently setup a staging site on a subdomain and that site is password protected, but I tested a scan with no password and this didn’t resolve the issue.

    Theme, plugins and WordPress are all up to date.

    Your advice would be appreciated.

    Hey @dagamachris,

    Can you do the following so I can get the information I need to help you?

    • Kill the existing scan if it is still running (The “Start New Scan” button turns in to a “Stop” button while the scan is running).
    • Go to your Scan > Scan Options and Scheduling page and locate the “Performance Options”.
    • Set “Maximum execution time for each scan stage” to 20 on the options page.
    • Click to “Save Changes”.
    • Go to the Tools > Diagnostics page.
    • In the “Debugging Options” section check the circle “Enable debugging mode”
      Click to “Save Changes”.
    • Start a new scan.
    • Copy the last 20 lines from the Log (click the “Show Log” link) or so of the activity log and paste them here.

    Hi Gerald,

    Thanks for following up, much appreciated.

    Oddly, after about 48 hours the scans started working again, and I’ve completed another just now without problem.

    If the problem re-occurs I’ll follow your guidelines and send the log data.
