# Saving within the same id & Undefined error & />/label error

 * hi and thx for this nice plugin.
 * but i had/have some problems with it. : )
 * Problem 1:
 * afaik the plugin creates a new file of each version of a form you save.
    e.g.[
   multi-step-form id=”34″] [multi-step-form id=”35″] and so on.
 * for any reason the plugin stopped saving a form with a new id from one day to
   the other. in this case it saves the changes within the same id.
    e.g. if i save
   the form with the actual id 34 it is saved as id34.
 * this already happend twice in the last 2 days and both times from one day to 
   the other. (i saved in the evening with no problems. the next day it saved within
   the same id).
 * Why is the plugin doing this?
 * Problem 2:
 * the first time the saving bug happens i additonaly had the problem that the plugin
   showed a popup message with a red background saying “undefined”.
 * as i read in an other topic u recommend to deactivate all plugins to debug it.
   
   BUT afaik this is not a plugin conflict. I know, because instead of deactivating
   the plugins, i just created a new form and copy pasted all content from the one
   with the undefined error to the new one, having exactly the same form twice in
   the end. Then i clicked to save the new form and it saved without any problems.
 * But what was the problem if not a plugin conflict?
 * Problem 3:
    Today i changed a lot of css. When i wanted to save the form it saves
   the new version with the old id again as i wrote above. BUT then another problem
   occured. Now only the first step of the form loads correctly. If you click next
   step, the next step is shown for a short time but a part of a second later the
   wordpress error-page (“Leider keine passenden Einträge gefunden!”) is shown and
   the url changes to [http://…/>/label](http://…/>/label). Can you help me primary

   just click on next step.
 * i resolved this problem by deleting the field with the defect label and adding
   it again

    thanks for your detailed problem descriptions.

 * Unless you make a duplicate, the plugin is supposed to save the form under the
   same id when you make changes. I can not explain the behavior you experienced.
 * Regarding your second Problem, have you been using older versions of the plugin
   or just downloaded the newest version?

 * i just had the “undefined problem” again.
    this time i just duplicated the form
   which wasnt able to be saved. the duplicated one is saved as it should.
